Airpower Over the Midwest www.scottairshow.com Scott Air Force Base Airshow 2008 | September 20-21, 2008 | 9 AM - 5 PM Members of Scott Composite Squadron and other CAP units will be assisting Active and Reserve USAF personnel at the 2008 Scott AFB Airshow. The dates of CAP operations will be 19-21 September. The hours of operation are from 0700 to approximately 1900 daily. Duties will either be augmentation of Security Forces for traffic control or crowd control and assistance at the airshow flightline. Additional duties will be assisting in a daily FOD walk and manning of the CAP recruiting table. On Friday, 19 September, CAP is requested to assist local disabled students who will be attending the Thunderbirds rehearsal at 1000. Break times will be available to view the show and exhibits. CAP personnel will have breakfast available at the Scott Club 0600 on Saturday and Sunday. We should have meal coupons available for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. However, it is recommended that all members have additional funds for extra items. We will be providing a meal on Saturday night at Squadron HQ. All personnel will be able to sleep at Scott Composite Squadron HQ on Friday and Saturday nights. We are arranging the use of shower facilities on the Base. This is an important function for the squadron and is of great assistance to our parent military service. In addition, CAP personnel will have unprecedented access to airshow exhibits and performers.
